Membership Pricing - Schenectady Branch
The Capital District YMCA is so much more than a gym or pool. At the Y, we are focused on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. With your membership you not only receive access to hundreds of life-changing programs and services at the Schenectady branch, but you are also able to use any Capital District YMCA location, as well as more than 2,000 YMCAs outside of the area through our AWAY program.

Program Membership
In addition to Full Members, who enjoy the full use of YMCA products and services, we offer a Program Member option, in the event you wish to limit your YMCA access to a specific program.
As a Program Member, you need to pay an annual fee of $75 as well as the pro-rated cost for the current month and the cost of any program you wish to attend. As a Program Member, your use of our facility is limited to
the program you’re taking.
Joiner Fees
A $25 joiner’s fee is charged for our Youth Memberships. For all other membership categories, a $100 joiner’s fee is charged. A joiner fee is also required for all memberships lapsed more than 60 days.
Methods of Payment
Automatic Withdrawal / Safe and Convenient
Monthly payments are withdrawn from your checking or savings account, debit or credit card. The joiner’s fee and pro-rated cost for your first month of membership are due when you join. There is no contract to join, and we will stop your monthly payments (with 30 days notice) once we received your written request.
Annual Payment
Dues may be paid in full when you join and then paid annually. We accept cash, check, or credit card. When you pay for a full year, the amount you owe includes the pro-rated cost for the current month, and the joiner’s fee.
