The Capital District YMCA offers competitive swim teams at four of our branches:
Guilderland, Greater Glenville,
Southern Saratoga, and
East Greenbush. Swimmers swimming at a minnow level or above are able to participate. Competitive swimming offers an excellent outlet for children to improve skills, to stay in shape, show team spirit, experience the excitement of competition, make new friends, and be physically active and fit. Swimmers can compete in swim meets through our North Country League. More serious swimmers can compete in USA swimming as well for an additional fee. Summer swim teams are available as well.
